Boeing 737 Max Crisis Deepens

Suppliers Find New Flaws, Grounding Extended

After the second fatal crash involving its 737 Max 8 aircraft, Boeing is facing mounting pressure. Suppliers have now reported a new problem with the fuselages of dozens of unfinished planes, adding to the company's woes.

The issue was first detected during testing of a new 737 Max in Renton, Washington. Boeing and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) have since confirmed the problem and announced that it affects a "significant number" of undelivered planes in production and storage.

The news comes as investigators continue to probe the cause of the recent crashes, which killed hundreds of people. The 737 Max jet remains grounded as the investigation unfolds, and Boeing is facing increasing scrutiny over the safety of its aircraft.
